I'm still here!!

Wow, I haven't posted in forever! I guess it's because I have been busy getting my fall listings ready for eBay. I've already listed some and there's much more to come. I have tons of size 5 Gap including the popular "Boho" and "Northern Lights" lines. My daughter and her little gal pal have a bunch of cute stuff! As soon as I take care of them, I will start listing the ever growing pile of clothes I have in my laundry room. There is a bunch of great Gymbo stuff in there!

Once I take care of my eBay listings, I'll be back to work sewing up a bunch of cute fall and winter clothing. My mom has already started on some adorable flannel PJs. Keep an eye out for them!

Fall Fever

It has finally warmed up enough here to wear tank tops and shorts but I already have fall fever! I can't wait to get started on some new designs. I'm planning on having some peasant tops/dresses, fall knots and corduroy ruffle pants. I've found some adorable fabrics to use.

I've closed my Etsy shop to custom orders and have all my ready-to-ship items at super low sale prices. Now is a great time to get a bargain! Soon, I'll have more knit hats/scarves and I'm planning on a bunch of cute gift items too. Keep checking back!

My daughter graduated preschool today!

I can't believe my "baby" graduated preschool! How can that be? It has been a great two years and we will miss her teachers and her classmates. She wanted me to create something for her special day so I came up with the "Canna" dress. It is as flashy as the flower it is named after - full of beautiful fabrics and plenty of "twirl factor". Of course, it had to be in pink (her favorite color)! I just adore how this dress turned out! I love how it ties in the back. Hopefully, I'll get around to making a few this summer. If not, it will be back next year!

What's in a name?

As you may have noticed, all the custom clothing in my Etsy shop has flower names. Why? Well, it seems many other sellers name their items with a girl's name. I wanted to be different. Why flowers? Well, gardening is my other passion. When I lived in Colorado, I worked for a landscape designer and even had my own landscaping business for a short while. I took a ton of classes in horticulture both at a local community college and through the botanic garden there. I also received my Master Gardener certification. I have even thought about getting a degree in Landscape Architecture. What does this have to do with clothing? Well, nothing really. I just love flowers and so I chose to name my designs after them. The names I choose reflect the personality of the clothing. So, here are the names of some of my upcoming designs - Viola, Wisteria and Canna. If you know the flowers, you can make a guess as to what the items will look like. If not, you'll just have to wait and see!

These 4s Have Got To GO!!

I'm sick and tired of looking at my overflowing size 4 storage so I'm having a sale in my online store! This weekend (May 8-10), all items in my size 4/4T category are 20% off. Remember, I always combine shipping so stock up and save (me from these clothes!! lol)!

A Big Pile-up!

Yes, I know, this is a photo of a laundry basket but it's a basket full of goodies for my online store. It is mostly fall and winter items but there are a few summer things as well. I'll be working hard to get these all listed by the end of the weekend. Be sure to check it out!

Order Up!

I just finished these sets for a pair of adorable sisters. I love the Amy Butler fabric and it will look awesome on those blond-haired, blue-eyed cuties! Now that my custom orders are finished up, I can work on creating some new items for my Etsy shop.

Welcome to my new blog!

This is just the next step in my quest for total world domination.....moohaahaa.....OK, maybe not world domination but at least in my little neck of the woods. LOL! I'm currently hard at work trying to get my new Etsy shop open and stocked with custom clothing. Hopefully, that will be done this week. Of course, I still have tons of work to do for my online store. I have a bunch of clothes to get listed at some point.

I wanted to start this blog to keep everyone updated as to what I have going on as well as providing some sneak peaks as to what's to come. Keep checking back!
